THE TECHNO 4 MIXES.
- The mixes on this page are used with the TECHNO 4 programme.
If any of the mixes contain any samples from the other EJay programmes then
you will not be able to hear the full mix unless you have these programmes as
well... The mixes are all zipped, because they are faster for you to download.
If a mix has any "imported" or "tweeked" samples, they are normally saved into
the mix, but it makes the file size much larger. Any message or text that you

This my latest but not very good techno mix that I have made
US2K Review: I have scored this track 5.5 out of 10. I am not going to provide a full review for this track but will say I agree with Matt about it not being one of his best. I would suggest the flow is broken too much,and there is too longer gaps of silence in it. The track begins well though with quite a good groove, lots of potental, and there is intelligent use of vox sound effects and attempts at variation. It is a reasonable and worth a listen.

Here's my new tune, hope it's not too big. There's a lot of imported samples in it, so hopefully it will be ok. Been tweeking this for about a month, and I think this one's ready now. Cheers M8.
US2K Review: Its a great track. It has a nice introduction, love the beat and the scatter piano notes. The theme is excellent with the vocal introducing the next musical phrase. There are clever breaks and use of silence and fx. Love the synth solos and gradually building arrangements and key changes every so often that form a verse chorus structure, with slow introduction of new instruments to keep things moving on. The middle 8 which leads to the main tune again is great. The string break works well. The only thing I would say about this is I would have liked to have heard the female vocal in the middle of that, or even the piano from the start of the track. In fact I would like to have heard the bit at the start with the piano in it again later in the track probably after the strings but this is just my personal opinion. I give the track an 8. Although its a great track for master mp3 I added extra delay, eq and compression, exciters to the exported wave file like a studio recording.

Its a Hardstyle Track with vocals made by myself and samples made by me too. I´ve produced it with ejay Techno 4.Lets rock
US2K Review: This is another dark sounding track, hard style. Plenty well introduced drum and percussion variations with several powerful drum roles at moments where track would have got boring without. Also the string to add intensity is well used to keep anticipation. All these factors and the pauses with sinister Vocal breaks and fx keep this track interesting for the whole 4 minutes. in my opinion it is better than The Thrill 3 and half (Master Edition 2007). I give it a 9. Why not a 10 ? Its not as catchy as some of your other tracks.

US2K Review: I love the concept and humour of this track, Pity that Kiss FM has not played anything like this for years, I knew it was going to be a rating 10 immediately. The tune is catchy and the beats are infectious. Lovely breaks and fills. Vocals are superb, your as cool and crazy as me? lol. You have a good break melody at 1min.4secs which gets the ear ready for the rest of the track but variation and interests in this track is faultless, and drum drops with bass and vocals and spot on. Are you marketing it ?

US2K Review: ( Original JJ Review) From a stereo point of view, this has a good sound because it bounces rapidly from L to R speakers... The tune has a very deep bassline, and sounds very dark and ravish, practically underground stuff... The continuity in the tune is first class, and it ebbs and flows through the sequences with some nice volume variations which that odd little impact as well... A mix for those who like 'em deep, dark, and menacing...

Hi again buddy - Thought I'd add to your list of TE4 tracks. Sunday 9pm (Edited Mix) was originally produced in TE4 and included additional vox samples too large to include here. It's still the only successful TE4 track I've produced, reaching No3 in the SoundClick Techno charts. It's a banging Techno number that was produced the very week TE4 was released, and it was uploaded to the Ejay site then, receiving lots of acclaim and praise for use of the samples chosen. I've since heard a few versions produced using the same samples, creating a similar track to mine, so I'm pleased to see that the prog is still in use altho' not as popular as the DE5 or DE6 progs, as is evident on your site too. US2K Review: ( Original one by JJ) Considering this is the first hard-edged mix I've heard from Clive, it's a stormer of a tune which packs a real punch, and I can see why it's done very well on other sites... Nicely varied through, but it has that certain little addictiveness to it, that makes you want to hear it again and again... The only negative point really is the squeeky, very high pitched intro, which might not appeal to everyone, and this alone stops it making my T.T. page, but once this is over, this is an otherwise very well put together tune, and most definitely one of Clive's better creations, and maybe with stuff of this quality, he should do more of it... The best TE4 mix so far...

I have new stuff for you, got very much of T4 mixes, but can´t send them on .mix files cause all samples I´ve got there I produced by myself, vocals and other stuff too. I will send you the mixes I have produced on mp3 so you can check out what I got . My Tracks are now much better than I have send it a few years ago and I am read now to show you what I am able to do now.
US2K Review: This track is a very tight foot stomper with nice builds of bass and drums and a hook melody that just make you want to dance, with appropriate vocals here and there. When things are getting too repetitive the drums drop and a vocal comes in as relief. The middle has a a good variation of the main theme, there are nice crashes fx and drum variations when needed. This I was going to give a 10 for but I cant after listening to your other tracks which I think are better. I have been scoring possibly overly favourable having heard your polished mixes. You have set a new standard.

This is a remix of a 1999 dance2 mix that I send in to John for his site. Now I remastered it, Resampled it, using T4 and listen to what I´ve made it to! If you want the Original FOLKSTHEME in 1999, I got it on mp3 too

I like the verse chorus structure where you use the Irish folk tune at the chorus and the other more dancy melody as the verse or is the other way round . You keep things interesting with repeated cuts or variations of these leads. You have good drum rolls, crashes and fx, drum and percussion layers drop in and out appropriately, a general professional arrangement. I am going to give you 10. Only one comment though one of the melody sounds a little like Too Unlimited - No Limits lol Also it would be cool to have one version of he Irish folk tune with strings playing chords behind it as you want people to feel like waving their arms in the air for a tune like this.

US2K Review: This track is a good example of well produced pounding darkish hard style. There are professional fx, fills and breaks with drum layers and percussion being skilfully added in response to crashes or drum rolls etc and Interesting vocals. There is an attempt at variation, which I know this genre does not need so much.. Unfortunately this track gets typical of this genre perhaps just to me apologies maybe I am not worthy lol less interesting at the 2 minute mark despite having and an interesting synth break in the middle it relies too much on playing the same set of melody bass lines even if varied slightly, although I know this is how this style is meant to sound, although I heard a track of this genre that broke the rules at Love Parade in 1999. I would rated this a 10 if you had broken the track up with another melody or harmony occasionally at some point

US2K Review: Its a lovely atmospheric track with breaks, appropriate variations and a nice building arrangement starting with the bass and drums. I love the lead line that finishes the track. I like the sound fx which give a lot of atmosphere. It reminds me of a day at the office when everything is going wrong, and everyone is getting stressful. I give it an 8, my only personal improvements would have been to have had a little less fx at times to give the groove more of a chance. I think I would like to have heard the final lead earlier in the track too maybe as a solo with everything dropped but that is just my preference I think. I hope you like my re-master which does not affect original mix in any way, is simply eq, compression, a little occasional extra reverb and an exciter applied to the exported wave file from techno 4, before final mp3 is made.

Bassbomber In the Beginning remixed 1. Lead too loud and Kicks, Hats etc. too low, so I changed.The Hypergenerator lead, reducing the fx and volume slightly 2. Kick a little weak to me, replaced with Wavekick01 from Techno4, my favourite kick (loudest in Techno4) .4. ALERT bass in techno4 did not seem to match. I redid the bassline to fit the lead. The whole ensemble in original track is good, but needed enhancement. The breaks are realy good, Doubt I've ever heard these before on ejay. So special and not so easy to use with the groove generator, I give Bass bomber a big plus for this. I left the orinal big break alone too. Unfortnately He forgot is the compressor. All professionel music Producers use them ,not only in ejay the compressor enhances the mix. Finally I pitched back the track a little, to amke it more Techno. The changes dont mean that the original track is not good. Of course it is, I kept the idea alive making it Patrick Sytle ish

Hello,I found an older mix 'alaska' from techno4. Like UFO you can expect a more chilled way of making music. Greetings Andy
US2K Review: This track has a nice introduction and build of layers. The theme is nice and mellow and crashes, fx are used well to introduce new sections. Drums are dropped for some nice breaks. At bar 51 the vocal affect is very affective and adds a needed variation. The track length is not too short, the eventual conclusion is clean and intelligent, and I liked the fact there is a different tempo to 140 BPM. Its a good piece of mellow house but I only score it with an 8 out of 10.

US2K Review: The choir is a wonderful Atmospheric introduction to a techno track. A skilful drum announces a pounding beat. The beat is effectively broken up by an interesting vocal lead and instrument solo interval.Things build up again and the same vocal and a happy catchy hook drum roll leading to a continuation of the main rhythm and hi hat. This track is of commercial quality for the genre. The conclusion is same theme as the introduction. My score is 9 out of 10.
